~I’m really excited to share this album, I’ve been going through a 70s “deep cut” funk phase inspired by the likes of the Italian composers Piero Umiliani, Piero Piccioni, The Giancarlo Barigozzi Group, Dime.Records, Jiro Inagaki and His Soul Media, basically all the stuff you see on those “Easy Tempo” playlists (Vol. 10 ...End Credits is filled with bangers) The two orchestral songs at the end of the album are my take on what the movie themes would be for Sonny Mac & The Night Rider - I hope you can hear the flavours of John Williams & Akira Ifukube amongst others. Mix all that with the late night stylings of “Don Sacremento” which is my character inspired by a mix of the classic late night hosts like Johnny Carson @officialjohnnycarson and Saul Goodman portrayed by the amazing @therealbobodenkirk from Better Call Saul @bettercallsaulamc and you get Groovin’ with The Don Sacremento Big Band!~

~This is inspired by Angel Batista’s famous advice to Dexter in @sho_dexter “Bring home La Pasión!”~
Chicanery
Hidden hi tech gadgets and fast cars – exotic locales and elegant women! For the ones who'll have it shaken, not stirred and live a life of mysterious intrigue – this is Chicanery!
~The song takes it’s inspiration from Better Call Saul, Chuck McGill’s famous exclamation calling out Jimmy for his “Chicanery!” Mix that with a heavy dose of James Bond and this is whatcha get!~
Spitfire
This next song is HOT, don’t get too close or you’ll get burned! An inferno of searing hot grooves blastin’ their way into your ears and filling your mind with insatiable desire, ladies and gents this is Spitfire!
~The inspiration for this one is dug out from the deepest grooves of the Tower of Power funk mines! @towerofpower git down with yer funky self and groove to the bass solo on this track!~
El Camino
Roll down the windows and let the wind blow through your hair in this slick ride. This song’s a gas guzzler turbo blastin down the highway at top speed – El Camino!

Abandon hope all ye who oppose this treacherous outlaw, the dark reflection that snuffs out the light – this is THE NIGHT RIDER SUITE!
~Don Sacremento introduces the haunting orchestral theme for the EVIL Night Rider! This theme is what happens when you mix the Imperial March by John Williams and the Godzilla Theme by Akira Ifukube & add in a heavy dose of Dies Irae~
